Dauphin Highlands Announces the
2010 Highlands Cup
to Top Two Golfers in Central Pennsylvania Amateur Championship
Who are the top male and female amateur golfers in Central Pennsylvania? We'll find out this fall when the 2010 Highlands Cup is presented to the two top golfers as part of the Central Pennsylvania Amateur Championship.
(Harrisburg, PA)-- Dauphin Highlands, one of central Pennsylvania's premier golf courses is celebrating its 15th Anniversary season with the first annual awarding The Highlands Cup to the top male and female golfer as part of the Central Pennsylvania Amateur Championship, October 9 - 10, 2010, at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.
"The best golfers in central Pennsylvania will gather at Dauphin Highlands for a weekend filled with great golf and excellent late season course conditions." Robert J. DeSousa, Esq., Chairman of the Dauphin County General Authority Golf Course Committee, said today. "In our 15th Anniversary Season, we wanted to recognize and thank the area's golfing public by honoring the best male and female golfers with a special presentation of the Highlands Cup. This is a special year for a truly great golf course and we wanted to say 'thank you' to the many golfers and friends who have supported the Highlands all season long." DeSousa added.
The Central Penn Amateur Championship, held at the Highlands every fall, is open to any amateur golfer and awards will be presented at a special celebration ceremony, October 10, in the following categories of competition:
Junior division (18 years and under),
Men’s division
Senior Division (55 and over)
Ladies Division
The Highlands Cup

HARRISBURG, PA (June 15, 2010) – Dauphin Highlands, one of central Pennsylvania's premier golf courses, will celebrate its 15th anniversary season with a series of fun and entertaining events throughout the day on Friday, June 25, culminating in a special anniversary reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on the patio of The Highlands Pub, said Robert J. Penn State Harrisburg Golf Earns Second Place Finish in NEAC Championship
MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Penn State Harrisburg golf team finished second at the Northeast Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship today, firing a tournament total 641. Rutgers-Camden won the event with a 636, although the Lions beat the Scarlet Raptors in today's second round, 315 to 318.
